FUMC is proud to be a part of Capital City C.I.R.C.L.E.S Initiative, a member of NETworX (USA).   CIRCLES breaks the cycle of generational poverty by allying middle-class people (Community Allies) with families in poverty (Champions of Change) over a two to three year period.  FUMC has been a major supporter of CIRCLES since it's beginnings here in Carson, along with many other members of our local community in other faith organizations, private organizations and city/county government agencies.  Our local CIRCLES is now a flagship of the program and is involved in training and creating new CIRCLES all over the country.  Volunteers are always needed as Community Allies, as well as in child-care, tutoring, and providing meals.   Contact the CIRCLES office or our own church office to be involved in this life-changing program.
