Small Blessings Christian Preschool ignites the love of learning in every child. Our developmentally appropriate environment encourages children to explore and experiment, create and construct, form friendships and imagine a world of their own.

About Us
Our most important job is to provide a safe and loving environment where children ages 3 to 5 can learn to enjoy time with new friends and teachers away from home. We focus on designing an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children to explore as they play. By recognizing the needs of each individual child and family, we are able to focus our energies in ways that best serve the growth of each child. Our theme-based curriculum focuses on the skills that are most important for preschool-aged children to develop. Using the Nevada Pre-Kindergarten standards, we help children develop confidence in language and literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, social studies, creative expression, physical development and health education.

Children must be 3 years old on or before August 1st of the school year in which they are enrolling. All preschool and Pre-K students must be fully toilet-trained.
Our preschool and Pre-K programs are designed for children ages 3–5 and are offered in a nurturing, mixed-age classroom setting with a variety of schedule options to fit family needs. We follow a school-year calendar that closely aligns with the Carson City School District (CCSD). Our school year begins in late August, usually the week after the CCSD starts, and runs through late May, with the final day of classes typically taking place the week before Memorial Day.

Smaller Blessings Preschool - Serves ages 3-4, 213 N Minnesota Street
Small Blessings Pre-K - Serves ages 4-5, 212 N Division Street
Morning Classes meet from 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Afternoon Classes meet from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
We DO NOT offer a full day program or a 5-day program

We are ALWAYS open to receiving Wait List applications for both the current year and future years through the Interest Form provided below or via the 'Future Years' email link. Please note that this form does not guarantee a spot on a class roster for any specific year; it serves as a wait list form that also captures your schedule preferences, which are essential when we are selecting Wait List Families for classroom placement when possible.
If you have already filled out an Interest Form, there is no need to submit it again. We will reach out to inform you about the availability of a spot for your child in a classroom.

We’re excited to kick off summer with our FINAL fundraiser on Wednesday, May 13th, from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Yogurt Beach in Carson City.
